SUB-AQUATIC CONCRETE

SUB-AQUATIC CONCRETE
Sub-aquatic concrete allows for the setting of concrete under water, with a very low loss of cement and fine aggregates caused by wash. This low level of loss of cementing material guarantees a total consolidation and a projected resistance, which translates into a structural integrity of the settled elements.

We recommend using this type of concrete on: beams, columns and piles that will be settled under water, sub-aquatic repairs, setting of bridges and dikes on rivers, setting of Milan walls as well as any other structure that is to be set under water, since sub-aquatic concrete allows for setting under water, where there are currents.

Its low loss of cementing and fine materials makes this concrete an ecological solution to the underwater construction problem because it does not contaminate water.

● Guarantees the integrity of the settled elements.
● Higher level of resistance to the attack of corrosive agents.
● The resistance to minimal compression is of 250 Kg/cm².
● Low permeability.
● Shrinkage: 8 or higher.
● Maximum aggregate size: from 20 to 40 mm.
● Meets the requirements established in Norm NMX-C-155 of the Complementary Technical Norms of the G.D.F.
